Canon EOS 2000D reviews. Pros and cons.

Advantages:
1) Price compared to other cameras in this category
2) The presence of NFC and Wi-Fi. It is very convenient and fast to transfer photos to your phone using a special application.
3) Nice body material. Not slippery, not easily soiled, rubber parts are reliable, will not fall out of hands
4) Ability to shoot in RAW.
5) (In my case), a normal "hot shoe". More on disadvantages
6) Normal whale lens. For amateurs or beginners, this lens will be an introduction to photography. Then, everyone decides for himself what to buy in addition. But I would advise you to take 50mm 1.4 / 1.8.
7) Bayonet. It is possible to connect EF lenses in addition to EF-S lenses (red circle)

Disadvantages:
1) "Hot shoe". I don’t know how it is distributed, but people come across versions with no central contact, which makes it impossible to use synchronizers, flashes and other accessories. But in my case, all contacts are in place. Haven't been able to test it yet, but I'm sure it will work.
2) When photographing RAW + JPEG, the RAW buffer runs out quickly (enough for about 8-9 shots). It is not critical if you photograph some objects, but not dynamic frames. When photographing in JPEG, the buffer is more than enough (~ 20 frames exactly)

After a conventional camera (from the distant 2010), the acquisition of a SLR refreshes the senses to create a photo. Before that, I had to hold in my hands only someone else's 550D, after a close acquaintance with which I decided to take it myself. For starters, I think this camera is more than enough. The pictures are good, and what else is needed for happiness. Later buy 50mm f/1.8 or 1.4 and it will be even better)

For the price it's a great option. For beginners, I advise not to get involved in night shooting with a kit lens - it makes noise at high ISO. A note to beginners - you can take cool pictures even with a cheap camera, it's a matter of skills and experience

Advantages:
Amazing picture quality for the low price.
Lightweight, comfortable, easy to use, the battery holds a charge for a very long time. Despite the primitiveness, there are almost all the functions that professionals use.
It is very convenient to transfer pictures to your phone via wi-fi.

Disadvantages:
The main drawback is that the kit lens is no good. Slow, dark, really without filtering. This is not a reason to abandon the camera, this is a reason to immediately take a good lens. I took a Canon 50mm f/1.8 STM lens for portraits - the photos are just superb.
The next thing that upset is the screen. It is not swivel and not touch, which is not very convenient, but the main thing is that it is very dark. It seems that the colors are not bright, and the shadows are black. I tried to add ISO, play with the light, but when viewed on a computer, especially after correcting the light, it turns out that the pictures were perfect in terms of light. I should have focused better on the subject. I adapted to look at the histogram, and not at the display. It immediately shows that the shadows are not blackened at all, and even if the brightness on a normal screen is not enough, then they can be pulled out and everything will be super.

Comment:
When working with a portrait lens, it becomes noticeable how inaccurate autofocus is. Autofocus misses are very noticeable in not very bright light, half of the frames can be immediately thrown into the trash. Therefore, I always take 3-4 frames with attempts to focus on different points, then I choose one - this is quite the solution.

2. Lack of central contact on the shoe.
